Local MP and Minister for Defence People visited Service personnel in Estonia at the weekend. He met soldiers and aviators stationed at Tapa army base and Amari air station to discuss their experience and how it could be improved. He also visited sailors in HMS Albion which is taking part in joint exercises in the Baltic.
Andrew said;
"The UK is very much committed to supporting NATO allies in the Baltic. It's important that the lived experience of service men and women stationed there is positive. To that end it was very useful to hear from them directly."
Earlier in the week Andrew was in Ukraine where he visited the military hospital in Lviv and discussed medical support with Ukrainian medics.
