Following the abolition of the ancient Westbury seat ahead of the 2010 General Election, the Independent Boundary Commission created the wonderful constituency of South West Wiltshire. Andrew has therefore been the only Member of Parliament to represent the constituency which includes the county town of Trowbridge, Warminster, Westbury, Mere, Tisbury and surrounding villages.
South West Wiltshire attracts tourists from around the world with major attractions like Longleat and Stourhead and its iconic white horse. The area has a particularly proud association with the UK's armed forces, being home to several military units and many Service families and veterans.
