On Friday Andrew Murrison was at Bratton Camp to view the transformation by English Heritage of Westbury’s iconic chalk carving from ‘Grey Mare’ back to ‘White Horse.’
The restoration work comes after a campaign to spruce up the much-loved local landmark.
Andrew said;
“Well done English Heritage and all involved ,including local volunteers, for restoring our white horse. Its once again a prominent landmark visible across the town and by travelers passing by.”
