At a meeting of representatives from Maiden Bradley, Corsley, Chapmanslade and the Deverills on Friday at the Bradley Hare in Maiden Bradley chaired by Dr Alex Channer, Wiltshire highways Chief Alan Creedy and portfolio holder Cllr Caroline Thomas outlined next steps for introducing a weight limit through the villages aimed at redirecting heavy vehicles to the strategic freight network.
The local MP, Andrew Murrison, and Wiltshire Councillor Bill Parks were present. Andrew said;
"I am now more confident that we will be able to get heavy traffic out of our villages by the end of next year."
